Picking up where they left off at the
Bradford Film Festival...
0.1's Frazpix join
forces with some of Somerset's most talented young bands,
singers, MCs, scratchers, beatboxers and percussionists
to create a show that aims to blur the divide between
audio and visual performance.
From Crewkerne - a stunning duo of smooth vocals and
funky, chilled out guitar. Vocals from Sam, Nick on
Guitar.
The C6 crew is Strode College's premiere MC's
& beat-makers, pushing the limits of hip-hop and
dance music with MC's, DJ's and live musicians.
From in and around South Petherton, Cockney Lobster
& the Sea Street Urchin's free-form line up incorporates
a range of styles such as jazz, blues, ska, reggae and
funk based on improvised riffs, giving each show something
different to offer.
The duo Fraz & Pix, whose debut gig was alongside
global VJ superstars Hexstatic at 0.1's Resfest 2003
party, have worked alongside Surgical Cuts, Pest, Mr
Scruff, Central School of Ballet and Pushca. Coiners
of the word 'vingle' to describe their part-short film
/ part music video visual-singles, Frazpix are core
members of the 0.1 collective and founders of the Audio
Visual Research Unit.
On Saturday a Berry's Coach leaves Hammersmith bus

but failing this, there will be plenty of floors / sofas
and spare beds to sleep on.
Alternatively if you can find somewhere to stay, then
Friday night, another leaves Hammersmith bus station
at 6.15 and arrives at South Petherton at 9.15. Then
you have Saturday to explore the somerset countryside.
